"Always David, never Dave" as he was introduced to others, he often became the center of the party, telling stories of his escapades. It was said that he could talk a dog off a meat wagon!

He was an avid lifetime fan of his alma mater, Providence College '59 , basketball and followed the teams, games, new recruits and tournaments for years. Retiring from State Street Bank in 2003, gave him lots of time to engage in this much loved activity.

At his entry to his everlasting life may David be welcomed at the gate by a fine bottle of Super Tuscan red wine and a good listener to his stories.

Services will be private at Hingham Cemetery Memorial garden where David will join his beloved daughter Lisa who died in 2004.

In Lieu of flowers, donations to Dana Farber Cancer Institute 450 Brookline Ave Boston MA 02215 would be appreciated.
