July 16, 2026 Submitted by Weir River Water System

Current Status: Level 2 – Significant Drought

Lawn Irrigation Prohibited / Essential Hand Held Watering Allowed

All non-essential outdoor usage is prohibited (lawn irrigation; washing vehicles, exterior building surfaces, parking lots, driveways, and sidewalks; and, filling swimming pools). Hand held watering for gardens, landscape plantings and other essential needs is allowed.

During a recent meeting of the state’s Drought Management Task Force, public water suppliers were advised that all regions remain in a Level 2 – Significant Drought except the Northeast Region which remains in a Level 3 – Critical Drought. The task force wanted to emphasize that all though we recently had one significant rainfall event, the drought conditions are not expected to improve any time in the near future.

Please continue to follow local watering restrictions as set forth by the WRWS.
