The Hingham 4th of July Parade Committee organizes and presents the largest & most attended annual activity in Hingham. For many folks, it is “The Hingham Event” that you must attend each year.
The Parade Committee needs new members, as a significant portion are stepping down in the next two years after between 10 and 18 years of leadership. We don’t want the Parade to go the way of our Fireworks! This happened in Wakefield and they lost the largest parade in Mass for several years.
The Parade Committee would like a handful of new leaders to join the Committee over the next two years, to learn the ropes while shadowing the current group. Please contact the Select Board or the Parade Committee to learn more: Hingham4th@gmail.com.
Our Kickoff meeting for 2024 is on Nov 13, 2023; monthly meetings start in January. The Parade Committee plans and runs the biggest party in town every year; why not join the fun and continue the tradition for years to come – you won’t be disappointed!
