We would like to thank the residents who attended our June 10 zoom community meeting regarding the future of the Parish Hall property at 107 Main Street. Atlantic Development is working with the Old Ship Church to repurpose the existing 3-acre Parish Hall property to fund a new parish hall to be built adjacent to their church at 90 Main Street.

We appreciate the comments and suggestions we received during and after the meeting. We want to assure the Hingham community that we are seeking input and ideas for future use of the property from all interested parties.

The property is being carefully studied, you may see surveyors and other people from our team at the property over the next few weeks.

Our next step is a site walk of the property on Tuesday, June 22 at 6:00 PM. It is open to the public. If you would like to attend, please email Geri at gld@atlanticdevelopment.com.

We will then host another zoom community meeting to present various options for the property, including those suggested by people in the community. We will not be proposing a 40B development or anything that needs a rezoning at Town Meeting. Following our presentation at the zoom community meeting we’ll be interested in hearing feedback from those able to attend.

We welcome any comments or suggestions. I can be reached at 617-429-5025 and any suggestions and comments can be sent to Geri at gld@atlanticdevelopment.com.

Thank you,

DJ MacKinnon, Atlantic Development
