Hingham’s Annual Town Election features a contested race for a five-year seat on the Planning Board. View a sample ballot to see all the races.
Hingham has three voting locations, all of which are open 8:00AM – 8:00PM on May 3. If you are unsure where to vote, use the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s Find my Election Information Too
- Precincts 1-4 – Hingham High School, 17 Union Street ***
- Precincts 5-7 – Hingham Middle School, 1103 Main Street
- Precinct 7A – Willard Square, Linden Ponds, 201 Linden Ponds Way
***Access to voting at HHS will be via the main high school entrance at 17 Union Street with parking for handicapped accessible spots via the Pleasant Street driveway which brings voters to the back of the school.
Registered voters have until Thursday, May 1 at 5:00PM to request an absentee ballot. Voters can use an absentee ballot if they:
- Will be away from Hingham on Election Day;
- Have a religious belief that prevents them from voting at their polling location on Election Day; or
- Have a disability that prevents them from voting at their polling location
