The annual Old Ship Plant Sale will take place on Saturday May 9th from 9am to 1pm.
The plant sale will be held on the lawn in front of the historic Old Ship Meeting House at 90 Main Street. Please park along Main Street and select your plants and we will help you load your car. There is limited parking at the top of the hill for those who need handicapped accessible parking.
We will have a beautiful array of healthy perennials dug from local gardens. All plants are labelled with photos so you can imagine what each flower will look like in your yard. We will also have a selection of annuals for sale and a small collection of nice pots, some garden ornaments and decorations as well as bags of composted horse manure for sale to benefit your garden soil.
New this year is a fun kids activity to paint a terra cotta pot and fill it with annuals as a Mother’s Day gift. We will have pots of different sizes, potting soil and lots of annuals to select from.
Plants left over from the plant sale on Saturday will also be available for purchase Sunday May 10th from 10 am to noon.
We accept cash, checks or credit cards and all proceeds benefit the First Parish in Hingham, a Unitarian Universalist Church.
