Please join the Hingham Republican Town Committee on Saturday, April 11, 2026, as it hosts a forum for candidates in the upcoming Town Election.
All candidates who returned nomination papers to the Town Clerk are invited to participate in the forum. Candidates are running for the following open positions: Town Moderator, Select Board, Board of Assessors, Board of Health, School Committee, Municipal Light Board, Planning Board, Sewer Commission, and Recreation Commission.
The forum allows the candidates to speak to the public in an informal setting about their platforms and their plans if elected to office. The candidates will also welcome questions from the audience.
The candidate forum will take place on Saturday, April 11th from 3:00 to 4:45 PM, in the Whiton Room of the Hingham Public Library. The public is welcome and there is no cost to attend.
The 2026 Town Election will take place on Saturday, May 2nd and the polls will be open from 8AM to 6PM.
