The Garden Club of Hingham is currently holding its annual Mother’s Day Teacup Bouquet Sale. Order online at Teacup Bouquet Sale 2023 – The Garden Club of Hingham and pick up a beautiful teacup bouquet on Saturday May 13 at the Annex of the Old Ordinary between 8:45AM. and 12:00PM.
Proceeds from the Teacup Bouquet Sale help to underwrite the planting and education programs of the Garden Club of Hingham each year. These include the sunken parterre terrace at the Old Ordinary, the Cole Terrace and Embankment at the Historical Society Annex, the planters and gardens at the main entrance as well as the courtyard garden of the Hingham Public Library, the traffic Islands at Hingham Centre, and Founders Park, planted on top of the railroad tunnel cap. Garden Club projects during the year also include: weekly fresh floral arrangements at the Hingham Public Library, an Arbor Day tree donation to the town and programming for Junior Gardeners. The Garden Club features an active monthly program of excellent speakers and field trips for its members as well.
