This year’s parade had a little bit of everything – marching bands, drum bands, horses, clowns, state champions, theater groups. and local organizations. A few members of the community were also honored – Scott McMillan was Grand Marshall, Janine Suchecki was Veternan of the Year, Bob Curly was Hinghamite of the Year, and Garbriella Nardello for having the winning design of the parade buttons. Some new groups participated this year including Hingham’s Center for Active Living and 143 Veternary Services marched with parade regulars like Hingham Militia, Friends of the Country Club, and the Shriner’s clowns.
