Laughter to Power Up Fundraising for Hingham Sports at Hingham Sports Partnership Comedy Show

Join Hingham Sports Partnership (HSP) for its Comedy Night fundraiser on Sunday April 2 to help raise funds for youth and high school athletic programs in Hingham. Three professional comedians, Will Noonan, Christine Hurley, and Kelly MacFarland, will headline the show at the Loring Theater. Doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 6:30pm.

Since its founding in 1995, HSP has provided more than $2 million to support Hingham youth and high school sports programs through donations, scholarships, and grants.

Kelly MacFarland is an experienced stand-up comedian with an extensive resume including comedy clubs, theaters, colleges, festivals, television appearances, corporate events, and entertaining U.S. troops overseas. Kelly was first runner up in the Boston Comedy Festival. She has performed at various comedy festivals, including the Oddball Comedy Festival, the Comedy Stage at Boston Calling Music Festival, and Lucille Ball Comedy Festival. Kelly has appeared on: Stand Up in Stilettos on the TV Guide Channel; The Today Show; The View; Comedy Central; NBC’s Last Comic Standing; and AXS Gotham Comedy LIVE.

Will Noonan, named “Boston’s Best Comedian” by The Improper Bostonian, is known for his roles as “The Honda Guy” for his job as spokesman in Honda commercials and for his fan-favorite role in the Netflix movie The Sleepover. Will has been the opening act for Bill Burr and has appeared on The Oddball Comedy Festival with Amy Schumer, Hannibal Buress, and Sarah Silverman. He has appeared shows on MTV, FOX, HULU, and his comedy is played often on Sirius XM. Will is the co-creator and co-host of the popular YouTube show “The Noonan Show” and the iTunes charting podcast “High Pathetically with Will Noonan.”

Christine Hurley loves to make people laugh! Married to Jimmy Hurley and a mother of five kids, Christine is never at a loss for comedic material. Christine has an innate ability to see humor in “everyday” situations. Christine’s maiden voyage into the world of stand-up comedy was an open audition for television network Nick at Nite’s “America’s Funniest Mom.” Out of thousands of entries, Christine was selected to be a finalist on the nationally televised show. Christine Hurley has quickly become a favorite in the Boston comedy world. She works with and is respected by Boston’s comedic legends, including Lenny Clarke, Steve Sweeney, Tony V and her mentor, Johnny Pizzi.
