South Shore Conservatory (SSC) congratulates students Alexander Kircheis, Grace Chen, Eric Gu, and Jacob Lewack for winning awards in their age divisions of the 35th annual HuiMin Wang Youth Concerto Competition. Pianist Alexander, a student of SSC instructor HuiMin Wang, took second place in the eight to ten division. Cellist Grace, a student of SSC’s Kyung Nam Oh, took second place in the 11 to 13 division. Bassoonist Eric, a student of SSC’s Janet Underhill, took second place in the 14 to 18 division. Pianist Jacob Lewack, a student of SSC’s HuiMin Wang, placed third in the 14 to 18 division.
