It’s not too early to mark your calendar for two programs that will be offered to Hingham Center for Active Living members in September by The Discovery Committee.
On September 10 at 1 p.m., the program is entitled “It’s Never Too Late,” revolving around the theme that when a person has worked for years developing skills and good judgment, there is no reason to “retire” — it may be time for an encore.
The event will feature six individuals who have decided to try a new adventure.
The panel includes an educator now a photographer, a writer for The Hingham Anchor, a math teacher now a piano player, and more.
There will be a time for questions and answers related to how trying a new adventure can be accomplished.
On September 24 at 1:30 p.m., an “Art for Your Mind” program will be presented by art historian Jill Sanford. The focus will be on “The Three Wyeths” — three generations of artists coming together to reveal an interesting progression of American creativity.
The programs will be held at the Hingham Center for Active Living, 224 Central St.
