April 2 – 5: The Sacred Triduum Retreat (In Person) The Monks of Glastonbury Abbey welcome you to join in the celebration of the Liturgy of the Hours and the Sacred Liturgy of the Easter Triduum, Holy Thursday through Easter Sunday Mass. The will be a presentation on each day of the Triduum by Fr. Nicholas Morcone, OSB. This three-night retreat is silent with plenty of time for personal reflection. This retreat is sold out and currently running a waitlist.
April 2, 3 & 4: Easter Triduum Talks (In person) Thursday, April 2, 4 p.m., Friday, April 3, & Saturday, April 4, 9:30 a.m. Join Fr. Nicholas for a series of three talks on the Easter Triduum. These reflections will help people understand and participate in the liturgies for Holy Thursday, Good Friday and the Easter Vigil. Presented in person only at the Morcone Center. Thursday, April 16, 7:15 PM: Listening to Other Voices, Haroon Moghul, “What Will We Teach Our Kids When We Know Everything?” (In Person and Online) With the onset of artificial intelligence, and with much of the world’s information at our fingertips, Haroon Moghul questions what is left for the human mind. He argues that many of these systems fall short because they fail to understand what makes and keeps us human. He suggests we explore what faith traditions, and specifically his Muslim tradition, can offer us in this moment. This program will be presented in person at the Morcone Center.
