On February 28, 2026 the First Annual Knock Out Cancer/Jimmy Fund Fundraiser Bowlathon was held at the South Shore Country Club in Hingham. 80 Bowlers competed in the event with prizes being awarded to the top 2 teams. The event was sponsored by South Shore Bank. All funds raised are donated to the Jimmy Fund as part of Knock Out Cancer.
The 17th Annual Knock Out Cancer Basketball Shooting Contests and Silent Auction fundraiser for the Jimmy Fund will be held on April 11, 2026 starting at 5:00pm. Due to a fire at long time sponsor South Shore Sports Center, this year the event will be held at Derby Academy in Hingham. South Shore Bank will once again be one of the premier sponsors of the event.
