OBITUARY: Ann T. Casanova

Casanova, Ann T. (Savoie) of Hingham, passed away August 24, 2026. Beloved wife for fifty-six years of the late Joseph A. Casanova. Cherished mother of John Casanova (Deborah), Jean Rooney (the late Paul Rooney) and Jan Casanova (Dennis Fitzpatrick). The last of her siblings, Ann was predeceased by Mary Welch (Savoie), Margaret Stratton (Savoie), William, Joseph, Leonard, Edward, Leo, Richard, James and Robert Savoie. Loving grandmother of Erin, Brian, Kristina, Kurt and Joseph. Beloved great-grandmother of Madison, Bella, Lucas, Callen, Dylan, Serena, and Isla. Also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

Ann was born in Quincy where she raised her family and spent her final years in Hingham. She was an avid reader who also loved bowling, bingo and her poker games. She was a gifted seamstress and made many beautiful clothes for her family. Known for her sharp wit, her warm heart and fierce independence, Ann lived with great love for her family and will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday, August 30, 2026 from 1-4PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.) HINGHAM. A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday August 31, 2026 at 10AM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral home, followed by a burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
