A groundbreaking ceremony for the new South Shore Country Club pool is planned for Thursday, July 23, from 2 to 4 p.m. on the construction site, followed by light snacks and refreshments served by the Club’s own award-winning restaurant, Ironwood, and a cash bar in the Pavilion Tent, hosted by the Friends of SSCC.
Enthusiastic swimmers — including entire families — are looking forward to the opening of the pool next summer, especially during the current heat wave!
Members of the select board will share their thoughts about the coming to reality of this long-anticipated project, and representatives from Pomroy Associates, owner’s project manager, will be on hand to answer questions. Everyone is invited to attend.
