“We The People” float promotes unity, community, and our shared democracy

The Hingham Democratic Town Committee, in partnership with Democratic Town Committees from Hull, Cohasset, Weymouth, Scituate, and Norwell of the South Shore Democratic Caucus, is proud to announce its participation in the Hingham Fourth of July Parade.
This year, as we mark the 250th birthday of the United States of America, our float — titled “We The People” — celebrates through historical images the enduring power of our democracy and the strength we find in unity, inclusion, community, and our shared democratic values. While organized by the Democratic Town Committees, this float is a celebration of the 250th anniversary of our country, for all citizens.
Members and friends will march alongside the float and music for the parade will be provided by the group Whoever Shows Up Bluegrass Band, adding to the joyful and inclusive spirit of the celebration.
