As part of a longstanding commitment to Croí Health, Alan McKim is donating $2.5 million to Voices: The Campaign for Patient Care Access to support hospice care. Croí Health is the largest non-profit provider of hospice services from Milton to Plymouth. The Voices campaign addresses the vital need to expand care.

In year three of the campaign, Croi Health has raised $16.3 million of a $20 million goal already raised in its third year. This $2.5 million donation is the largest campaign gift to date. The Voices Campaign, chaired by Hingham philanthropists Kitty and Tim Pinch, has resonated because the community of donors, families, and partners understand how vital hospice and palliative services are.

“I am honored to stand with Croí Health as they continue to set ambitious goals to expand access to patient care,” said Alan McKim, founder of Clean Harbors. “A dignified end-of-life hospice experience is what we all seek for our loved ones. As a family, our goal is to invest in organizations that are advancing and prioritizing critical services in our community.”

The McKim Family Foundation previously donated $500,000, to the Grace Campaign (2020 – 2022). The gift was directed towards Croí Health’s Pat Roche Hospice Home, in honor of Alan’s mother, Barbara.

“Beyond the complexities of the underfunded payer system and rising costs, our team must remain focused on the ethical mandate to care for as many patients as we can safely” noted Croi Health CEO, Renee McInnes, “Voices: The Campaign for Patient Care Access has resonated with the community because they understand how vital these services are. This donation is our largest campaign gift to date, and we are profoundly grateful for the McKim family’s investment in our patients and families.”

Support for community-based healthcare organizations has never been more critical. With a daily census of 1,200 and over 200,000 patient visits in 2025, it’s clear that home care hospice organizations like Croí Health are vital to every community.
