On Wednesday December 10, 2025 at approximately 11:20am, Hingham Officers responded to the area of 147 Main St for a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. The first two officers on scene responded from private details nearby.
On scene, officers rendered aid to a pedestrian in the roadway with apparent serious injury. The pedestrian was transported to South Shore Hospital by the Hingham Fire Department.
The operator of the motor vehicle involved stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. The operator was also transported to South Shore Hospital.
At this time the crash is under investigation.
