Hingham resident Jack Giorgio was recognized as a “Hero Among Us” by the Boston Celtics during their home game against the Orlando Magic on Sunday, November 23, 2025. The honor, presented in conjunction with Move4Heather Night, celebrates Jack’s extraordinary impact on the fight against pediatric brain cancer.
Jack has turned his experience into actions by launching several fundraising events, and JD55 was instrumental in contributing to the $1M directed to Dana Farber, supporting pediatric brain cancer research. It is in recognition of all the families and friends who have supported the Jacks Drive 55 Foundation and its community efforts.
Since 1997, the Boston Celtics’ Heroes Among Us program has honored individuals who make exceptional, lasting contributions to their communities. Jack’s commitment to advocacy and his unwavering determination to help others embody the true spirit of this award.
