South Shore Conservatory (SSC) presents “South Shore Holiday Pops” featuring the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra (ASO) on Sunday, December 14, 3:00 pm at the Scituate Performing Arts Center, 606 Chief Justice Cushing Highway in Scituate.
“This year, South Shore Conservatory is starting our own holiday tradition,” said SSC Artistic Director Steve Bass. “Families on the South Shore can save the time and expense of traveling all the way to Boston for holiday entertainment. They can skip the trip and still experience the same music, magic, and family fun.”
“South Shore Holiday Pops” features the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra’s professional musicians, led by Maestro Jin Kim, performing the joyful sounds of the season. The program includes holiday favorites such as “Sleigh Ride,” “Hanukkah Festival Overture,” and “Winter Wonderland.” The concert includes a festive audience sing along and a special visitor from the North Pole.
The Atlantic Symphony Orchestra has provided joy and connection through music on the South Shore for almost 30 years. Orchestra musicians are in demand throughout New England, while soloists often perform internationally. Kim has been ASO Music Director and Conductor for 29 seasons.
Tickets for SSC’s family-focused “South Shore Holiday Pops” concert are $35 for mezzanine seating ($15 for seniors and those under 18) and $48 for orchestra seating ($25 for seniors and those under 18). Tickets are available at https://give.sscmusic.org/south-shore-holiday-pops.
