Why you chose downtown Hingham as your place of business: I chose downtown Hingham because it has a certain rhythm, a balance of history, personality, and quiet sophistication that felt right. It’s the kind of place where people still stop to look in a window, and that’s exactly the kind of connection I wanted.
What makes your business unique: We are not just a boutique, but a couture house. We actually sew everything in-house, just as a bakery bakes its own cakes. We design and craft our leather goods and fashions right here in Hingham, unlike much of today’s fast fashion that is outsourced to distant factories.
What your shop offers to customers: Connor Donahue is a luxury couture fashion house based in Hingham specializing in bespoke tailoring, fine leather goods, and timeless couture garments. The brand is rooted in craftsmanship, elegance, and individuality, offering a full-service atelier experience that includes ready-to-wear shopping, bespoke clothing, bridal, alterations and tailoring, and made-to-measure services.
Your favorite part of having your own business: My favorite part is creating something that feels entirely mine from the design to the experience and seeing it resonate with people in a way nothing else can. There’s a thrill in turning an idea into something tangible and unforgettable every single day.
Do you have any pets and a little about them: Yes, a Yorkshire Terrier named Bentley who is 10% dog and 90% attitude!
What makes downtown Hingham unique? Downtown Hingham is special because it feels effortlessly curated; a mix of history, style, and local character that you don’t find everywhere. Every corner invites you to slow down, explore, and discover something unexpected.
What you enjoy most doing in your spare time: I love curating experiences in my everyday life — from finding the perfect café to discovering art and design that inspires me.

Do you have a hidden talent: I am an actually an excellent cook — just ask my family and friends!
Interesting fact about yourself that others may not know about: When I was younger, I wanted to be a pilot, then an artist, then an inventor. Now, I get to continuously invent wearable art season after season that travel the globe with the people who wear them.
