On a pristine late September evening, Hingham Crew kicked off their Fall fundraising campaign with a truly memorable celebration. Boasting tremendous food from Lou’s Bah Bah Q, tasty beverages from Untold Brewing, fun and games for the kids, a silent auction, an incredible lighting arrangement from Nightview Lighting, flag and pumpkin decorations, awesome merch, and great live music, the two-time defending state champions rolled out the red carpet for friends, fans, and neighbors to check out one of the friendliest communities of athletes in town.

Attendees were able to renew old acquaintances, make new friends, mingle with the athletes, and, with doors thrown wide open to the community, invite a huge crowd of revelers to see what makes the rowing community so special. The party began with some competitive potato sack races and high stakes games of cornhole, while most of the younger attendees were soon sporting festive face paint, courtesy of our tremendous crew of volunteers. The sweeping views of beautiful harbor scenery provided a perfect backdrop for photos with longtime friends, neighbors, and teammates. The spacious tent, which was generously on loan from the Hingham Anchor, made for a wonderful spot to make new friends and reminisce with old ones.

Hingham Crew would like to thank the invaluable contributions of our parent volunteers, sponsors, coaches, and community members. The unwavering support and tireless work of so many volunteers helped to create another unforgettable event. All of the funds raised this weekend will go toward funding necessary equipment and coaching staff needs that put a championship team on the water each and every season.
